The Philippines now has more than 25,000 Ford Territory units since its inception in 2020.
According to Blue Oval marque’s distributor in the country, the milestone has been reached after the second-generation Ford Territory has breached the 5,000-example sales mark — just months after it was revealed at the Manila International Auto Show last April.
“The Ford Territory is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most successful Ford vehicles sold in the Philippines. It is a global product of Ford that complements the needs and lifestyles of Filipino customers, so we are really happy that it continues to resonate in the market even after three years. We truly appreciate the support and patronage, and we look forward to seeing more Filipinos own every driving moment with the Next-Gen Territory,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Michael Allen Breen quoted as saying.
Outfitted with contemporary design, premium interiors, efficient performance, and advanced features, the second-generation Ford Territory is retailed in two trims namely the Titanium and Titanium X.
Notable details that can be found in the exterior sport utility vehicle are the eye-catching alloy wheel design (either 18- or 19 inches, depending on the variant chosen) and the panoramic sunroof on Titanium X.
Occupants are bound to enjoy the spacious cabin that features a 12-inch central touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster (seven-inch for the Titanium while 12-inches for the Titanium X).
Both trims are powered by a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine paired with seven-speed wet-type, dual clutch transmission.
The five-seater crossover is also equipped with advanced driver-assistive technologies that include active park assist, 360-degree camera, and blind spot information system with rear cross-traffic alert — with the Titanium X option getting the additional adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function.
Further, the next-generation Ford Territory is packaged with a five-year warranty or up to 150,000 kilometers — whichever comes first.
Relatedly, the Blue Oval marque’s local distributor said that customers getting a next-generation Ford Territory in the closing quarter of 2023 can avail attractive deals from Ford dealers nationwide.
The vehicle can be checked out or test driven at the Ford Island Conquest happening at Ayala Malls Solenad in Sta. Rosa, Laguna on October 13-15 and SM City Pampanga in San Fernando, Pampanga on October 27-29. Customers who will reserve at the event may enjoy price cuts of up to P100,000.
