Ford Philippines has recently announced that its Territory has officially broken the 15,000- sales milestone.
The Blue Oval brand’s small sport utility vehicle (SUV) offering ended the third quarter of 2022 by selling a total of 15,236 units since its official introduction in August 2020.
In a span of three years, deliveries for the Ford Territory locally reflected consistent growth, selling 1,925 examples by the end of 2020; 6,881 units sold in 2021, and 6,430 vehicles rolled out to buyers for the first nine months of 2022. The latest sales tally is 29 percent more compared to the same period a year ago.
The said number also helped the company retain its market leadership in the recent past by cornering 52 percent in the first nine months of 2022.
“We are very happy to achieve another milestone for the Ford Territory in the Philippines – over 15,000 happy and proud owners all over the country. It is truly a representation of the trust that we receive from our customers and the great support from our dealers to enhance the ownership experience,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Michael Breen was quoted as saying.
“As we see more Ford Territory SUVs being driven on the road, we can’t wait to see more Filipino customers experience the amazing features and capabilities that the Ford Territory offers.”
It can be recalled that the Ford Territory reached its 5,000th customer milestone in June 2021, and had the 8,000th sales achievement in November of the same year. Further, the company was able to hit the 10,000-unit mark with the aforementioned model by the end of the first quarter of 2022.
Ford Philippines attributed the Territory’s strong sales accomplishment to its “sleek and stylish design, impressive performance, and driver-assist technologies,” saying that it has “become the new standard” for the small SUV segment.
Fitted in Ford Territory are the notable features that include panoramic moonroof, 360-Degree Around View Monitor, Blind Spot Information System, 10-inch infotainment system, and Apple Carplay with wireless connectivity feature and Android Auto Capability.
Relatedly, Ford Philippines announced that it is offering a free three-year scheduled service plan (SSP) together with the purchase of a Ford Territory. Customers can also avail of a special financing program where they can get the Territory at an all-in down payment of P149,000.
