Per McLaren, Norris drew inspiration from his blue and yellow helmet when designing his dream Artura. How did Norris build his dream McLaren Artura?
Norris built his dream McLaren Artura using the brand’s online Artura configurator.According to the Woking-based luxury car brand, Norris’ ideal specifications were inspired by his trademark blue and yellow helmet. Hence, the Belgian-British race car driver chose bright yellow brake calipers and 10-spoke super-lightweight dynamo forged alloy wheels.
Further, Norris added carbon fiber exterior and interior packs to his McLaren Artura. Per McLaren, the exterior carbon fiber pack includes the front splitter, diffuser, rear bumper, and door mirror casings all finished in stunning glossy carbon fiber. Front fender louvers and an MSO (McLaren Special Operations) rear spoiler are also available as standalone choices for an even more aggressive finish.
Inside, the carbon fiber interior pack replaces the standard Satin Black finish, with lightweight visual carbon fiber featuring on the extended gearshift paddles, steering wheel clasp, door switch surround, central tunnel finisher, and binnacle finisher.
These specifications were added to a Vision trim Artura, finished in Aurora Blue paint.
Norris, for those following the Formula 1 driver, knows he is not new to designing. He founded Quadrant, a gaming and lifestyle brand that combines Norris’ love for gaming, lifestyle, content, and apparel.
That said, going into the details and finding the specification that speaks for itself, probably wasn’t too hard for the McLaren driver.
