Foton PH releases 20 CVs units to DAR-Region 9 for local farmers

Foton Motor Philippines Inc. (FMPI) recently turned over 20 commercial vehicles to the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) that will mainly be used to provide mobility to local farmers.

The fleet turnover composed of the following models:

• Gratour MT Dropside,
• Tornado 4.4C Dropside,
• Tornado M2E E4 Dropside,
• Tornado M4.2 CDropside,
• Thunder 4x2 EX,
• Hurricane EST-MDropside, and;
• Tornado C 4.8Dropside.

“If it’s for the welfare of our fellow Filipinos, especially for the backbone of our economy — local farmers — we’ll be steadily supporting,” FMPI President Rommel Sytin was quoted as saying.

According to FMPI, most Foton units are “also built with technological advancements from Cummins engines, Bosch electronics, and WABCO air brakes that produce superior performance and reliable functionality, making it fit for multi-purpose usage aligned with the efforts of our farmers.”

The company added, “Foton has consistently supported government projects that aim for the betterment of the society by providing quality and reliable commercial vehicles.”
