Fuso PH hands over 5 Canter modern PUV to Cavite-based transport group
Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP), the distributor of Fuso trucks in the country, has handed over five Canter Commute (Class 2) units to Common Transport Service Cooperative (CTSC) in Carmona, Cavite.

The Fuso Canter Commute can accomodate a total of 30 passengers.According to SFP, the said modern public utility vehicles (PUV) are expected to deploy along Marcos Avenue (Ave.), Commonwealth Ave., Quezon City, and Montalban Rizal via the Manila Gravel Pit Road — aka Litex road.
The purchase partnership between SFP and CTSC was facilitated by Alpine Motors Corporation-Fuso Carmona.

The Fuso Canter Commute is equipped with a Euro V-compliant 3.0L diesel engine, thus offering cooperative members better fuel economy and cleaner emissions.
Further, the Fuso Canter Commute can fit 20 people in side-facing seats while still accommodating 10 more standing passengers.
Comfort-wise, the air-conditioning unit installed is patterned with Fuso’s popular light bus model, Rosa. Air-condition vents are mounted overhead to give the interior an equal distribution of airflow.
The Fuso Canter Commute is also compliant based on the requirements set by the Philippine National Standards (PNS 2126:2017), not only safeguarding passengers’ security but also streamlining their travel experience with added convenience in fare collection.

Operators and drivers who will be using the Fuso Canter Commute were given a pre-delivery orientation and training to ensure proper vehicle operation. Additionally, SFP also shared driving tips and gave CTSC members a basic maintenance lecture.
