Fuso PH supplies Canter units to local food, tech, and medicine distributor

Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) has recently turned over several units of the Canter light duty truck to the Gamboa Group of Companies (GGC).

In a statement, the Japanese truckmaker’s distributor in the country said that it delivered seven examples of the Canter (four units of the FE71 and three FE73) to the distributor of Procter and Gamble, Nestle, Wyeth, Samsung Electronics, and RiteMed products locally.

The transaction was coursed through SFP’s dealership in Cainta, Peak Motors Philippines, Inc. (PMPI).

In a statement, SFP said its commitment to contribute to drive for development and provide globally-competitive commercial vehicles perfectly complements GGC’s goal of consistently delivering superior performance in all business measures.

SFP executives and partners from Daimler Regional Center — together with the officers from PMPI — met with the GGC team to express their gratitude for the trust and confidence in Fuso products.

According to SFP, the Canter is powered by stronger and efficient power mills that are highly capable for all business and transport needs. Trucks under the aforementioned nameplate, the company said, also have the capacity to haul 2,640 up to 6,125 kilograms of payload, depending on the variant chosen.

Further, SFP said that since the products under GGC are meant to be distributed immediately, “it needs to provide fast and convenient delivery services to its business partners across the country.”
