GAC Motor Philippines has confirmed the arrival of the new-generation GS3 Emzoom in the local market.
Redentor Cajayon, who is the brand head of the Astara-supported automotive distributor, made the announcement during the press-conference today, saying that the upcoming compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) will be officially unveiled on June 30 and retail sales shall start in July.
“We are excited to give you a glimpse of the new-generation GS3 Emzoom, the newest challenger in the scene, set to drive our brand to new heights and zoom through Philippine roads with its fierce and sporty character,” Cajayon said, noting that the Philippines would be the first market outside China to launch the model.
To note, the new-generation GS3 Emzoom is the latest version of the GS3 crossover — which serves as the entry-level model in GAC Motor’s local lineup.
Per GAC Motor Philippines, the GS3 Emzoom is an evolution of GAC’s crossover SUV line, combining striking aesthetics, large space, intelligent technology, and incredible performance in one package.
Further, Cajayon bared that the model will come in three variants namely GS (base model), GB (mid-level offering), and GL (top-of-the-line trim)— with prices ranging from P998,000 up to P1.198 million. The said nameplate will be packaged with a five-year warranty.
Cajayon said that interested clients may pre-order the new-generation GS3 Emzoom at all GAC Motor dealerships around the country or via online reservation by logging on to https://gacmotorph.com/all-new-gs3-sign-up/.
While no other details were shared during the presser, Carmudi Philippines is expecting that the forthcoming model will likely be powered by a 1.5-liter engine mated to an automatic gearbox.
