GAC Motor PH introduces Emzoom Touring

GAC Motor Philippines has introduced the Emzoom Touring variant, a replacement for the nameplate's mid-spec GB grade.

Per the Astara-led Chinese marque, the new GAC Emzoom Touring offers exterior updates that bring the model closer to the range-topping R-Style trim.

Appealing exterior features include the R-Style body kit, center-mounted twin exhaust pipes, and a “Touring” badge.

“The new and dynamic look of the Emzoom Touring closely mirrors the premium aesthetics of the top-of-the-line R-Style,” the company said in a press statement.

The GAC Emzoom Touring is also equipped with LED lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, flush door handles, 18-inch wheels shod in 225/55 series tires, and rear fog lights.

It is available in Graphene Grey, Moonlight Grey, Ivory White, and Superstar Silver.

The cabin of the GAC Emzoom Touring is finished in blue and black hues. Inside is a multi-functional leather steering wheel and seats with polyvinyl chloride leather upholstery.

Occupants will also find a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch multi-functional infotainment screen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, and automatic air conditioning system with a PM 1.0 air filter.

Under its hood is the familiar 1.5-liter engine mated to a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, which produces 174 horsepower and 270 Newton-meters of torque.

In terms of safety, the GAC Emzoom Touring gets technologies such as cruise control, a rearview camera, passive entry and passive start, a tire pressure monitoring system, hill start hold control, hill descent control, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold.

The GAC Emzoom Touring variant will have the same price tag as the outgoing GB trim, which is P1.098 million. Car buyers eyeing the new model can expect it to come with an aftersales warranty for the first five years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
