GAC Motor PH partners with PhilCycling for 2021 National Trials

GAC Motor Philippines recently inked a partnership with the Integrated Cycling Federation of the Philippines to become the official mobility partner of the 2021 PhilCycling National Trials for Road.

On the said event, slated from July 10 to 11 at Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone in Pampanga, GAC Motor Philippines will utilize its GA4 1.3 AT sedan, GA8 2.0 GL executive sedan, GS3 1.3 AT sub-compact SUV, GS4 1.5 AT compact SUV, GS4 4x2 Premiere SUV, and the GS8 4x2 Sport SUV to service the PhilCycling event marshals and executives.

In a statement, the local distributor of Guangzhou Automotive Company (GAC) in the country took pride over the vehicles' quality, comfort, and performance that “provide premium experience to its occupants.”

The company continued, “The aggressive yet classy stance reflects the commanding presence of the vehicle line-up. In addition, the interior boasts of its elegance and space partnered with features that exude a luxurious feel."

Further, the local distributor for the Chinese automotive marque claimed that its line-up is built on high-strength steel-safe chassis that reduce vehicle vibration and provides protection against intense collision impact.

The units are equipped with Bosch’s latest ESP 9.3 that corrects oversteering at sudden cornering and sudden lane change to ensure stability at high speeds.

GAC Motor Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer Wilbert Lim expressed gratitude over the newly forged partnership.

“We thank PhilCycling for choosing us as the event’s official mobility partner for the 2021 PhilCycling National Trials for Road. We ensure that the executives and marshals of the organization will have a positive experience in our portfolio,” he said.

The forthcoming races will be two divisions (men and women), both in Individual Time Trial and Criterium.

Apart from the fleet service, spectators and guests will also have a chance to see and check out the vehicle display of GAC Motor Pampanga and GAC Motor Tarlac, which will be placed also at Clark Parade Grounds.

Earlier GAC, Motor Philippines tapped Philippines’ “Queen of Trails” Ariana Dormitorio to be the local brand ambassador.
