GAC Motor PH plans to sell 400 units this year
Legado Motors Inc. (LMI) is eyeing to sell 400 units to customers for the full 12 months of 2021, LMI Vice President for Operations Giovanni Frias revealed.
However, he added that the company still has a lot of catching up to do. The company has only reached 40 percent of the target at present. Around 160 units have so far been turned over to buyers.
According to LMI Marketing Manager May Moreno, executives expressed firm belief that the conservative target for the local distributor of Guangzhou Automotive Company (GAC)this year is still doable as the company has cooked up numerous promotions and other offers to motorists.
“We're being aggressive as much as we can, putting out all possible resources to make the sale happen: big cash discounts, competitive financing offers and putting up partnerships to increase brand presence,” Moreno told Carmudi Philippines.
During a virtual roundtable discussion last week, LMI Product Director Brennan Lim shared that the company has various campaigns designed to build rapport with its partners and answer the mobility needs of Filipinos.
Lim shared that GAC Motor Philippines has an ongoing nationwide promo, the “Champion’s Deals,” which offers up to a P270,000 discount on its vehicle models. This promo will run up to September 30.
Aside from that, the company will also be partnering with one of the biggest superstores in the country (to be announced soon) to further promote the brand and let consumers experience what GAC Motor vehicles have to offer.
Further, he shared that GAC Motor will have a string of vehicle launches in the country by this year and up to next year, which will include a bullet-proof version of its flagship model, the GS8 and the new iteration of the GS4.
Moreover, he said that the company is also extending its after-sales service to non-GAC Motor brands.
“We don’t just provide our customers with quality vehicles; we also provide them with the best after-sales service for both GAC Motor and non-GAC Motor brands. Yes, we also offer our services to customers with other brands of vehicles,” Lim said.
These services include: Preventive maintenance service, electric diagnostics, tune-up, Freon recharging, wheel alignment, tire mounting and installation, muffler and exhaust repair/installation, brake repair, change oil and other fluids, car wash and detailing, paint washover, body repair and body collision estimate, and car disinfection as well as insurance assistance and insurance claim estimate costing.
