GAC Motor Philippines will conduct various programs this weekend that are aimed to push the Empow to the local market.
In a statement, the Chinese automaker’ s local distributor shared that it is set to conduct the “Empowered Drive” program on September 30-October 1 in three folds.
First, the Astara-led company said that GAC dealerships nationwide will offer discounts, freebies, and enticing deals to those who will get the Empow during the aforementioned period.
Aside from that, GAC Motor Philippines will also have a multi-vehicle display at the Corte de las Palmas in Alabang Town Center for test drives.
Lastly, the firm will have a test-drive event at the Batangas Racing Circuit in Rosario, Batangas City on September 30. Interested customers are asked to sign up via this link to secure their slot at the event as pre-registration is required.
"Putting the Empow to the ultimate test on the racetrack is our way of proving that we stand by every claim we make about this exceptional vehicle. What better way to validate its power, performance, and precision than by unleashing it on the track, where it can truly shine," GAC Motor Philippines Brand Head Franz Decloedt said.
Powering the GAC Empow is a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline with Megawave technology mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. The mill allows the vehicle to go 100 kilometers per hour from standstill in less than seven seconds.
In addition, the GAC Empow — which was officially introduced to the country last January — has a jet-inspired look that matches the quad exhaust system and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Further, the GAC Empow’s cabin is adorned with leather and carbon fiber appointments. It is also equipped with dual smart touch screens.
