Gas prices to spike further this week
The price of gasoline products at the pump is set to increase again this week — the third consecutive hike for the month of May.

The adjustments could reflect as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow.Based on the advisories issued by Caltex, Cleanfuel, Seaoil and Unioil, the retail price of gasoline shall go up by P1.10 per liter. There will be no movement in the price of diesel.
However, many of the aforementioned fuel companies are also set to cut down the price of kerosene by P0.35 per liter.
The adjustment on pump prices — which other fuel companies are expected to follow suit — shall begin at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday (May 30).
Last week, firms raised the pump prices of gasoline by P0.80 per liter, diesel by P0.60 per liter, and kerosene by P0.10 per liter.
