The Geely Okavango is the brand’s entry into the three-row MPV segment. It holds the fort for the Chinese automotive brand along with its siblings the Coolray and the Azkarra.
The seven-seater SUV features a modern-looking exterior with LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED front and rear fog lamps, as well as a full LED rear combination lamp. Higher variants get auto-fold side mirrors, a roof rail, and a power liftgate. Likewise, the Geely Okavango can be had with either a set of 17 or 18-inch wheels depending on the variant.
Inside, the base variant of the Okavango gets fabric seats and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster while the higher variants get leather seats and added features like a panoramic sunroof, a sunglass holder, and a fully-digital 12.3-inch instrument panel. Both variants get a 10.25-inch infotainment system.
Power comes from a 1.5-liter engine mated to a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. This setup makes 190 horses and 300Nm of torque.
Safety-wise, the Geely Okavango comes with a reverse camera, hill-descent control, hill-start assist, an electronic stability control, ABS, and EBD. The range-topping variant gets a 360-degree camera and additional airbags.
The Geely Okavango is offered in three variants: Comfort, Urban, and Urban Plus. They are priced from P1,208,000 to P1,478,000.

The Chery Tiggo 8 features a dynamic streamlined body accentuated by LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, and DRLs. Like the Geely Okavango, the Tiggo 8 also sports electric folding side mirrors, a roof rail, and a power liftgate. All variants ride on 18-inch wheels.
The cabin boasts faux leather seats, a multi-functional leather steering wheel, and a 10.25-inch infotainment system that sends audio to six speakers.
The Chery Tiggo 8 is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine mated to a six-speed DCT. This powertrain setup makes 145hp with 210Nm of torque.
In terms of safety, the Chery Tiggo 8 offers ABS, EPB, an electronic stability program, hill descent control, cruise control, a reverse camera, and a rear sensor.

Another 1.5-liter three-row MPV/SUV option comes in the form of the Suzuki XL7. At the front end are LED headlamps with DRLs, front fog lamps, and LED rear combination lamps. It comes with a roof rail and rides on 16-inch wheels.
Inside are fabric seats, a leather steering wheel, a 10-inch infotainment system, and ventilated cupholders.
Under the hood is a 1.5-liter engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission that makes 103hp and 138Nm of torque.
When it comes to safety, the Suzuki XL7 offers ABS with EBD, an electronic stability control program, hill-hold control, rear parking sensors, and an immobilizer.
The Suzuki XL7 is offered in a single variant priced at P1,098,000.
