The Hyundai Reina subcompact sedan can be purchased at a monthly payment of P5,921 with the brand local distributor's Fast-Forward Drive promo, which is running until April 15, 2021.
Local Hyundai distributor Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) has promoted the deal of the Reina at "#ZeroSafeguardTax" prices. The tax raises the price of imported vehicles.
Under the Safeguard Measures Act, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) shall impose “a provisional safeguard measure in the form of a cash bond amounting to P70,000 per unit for passenger cars/vehicles and P110,000 per unit for light commercial vehicles."
The Reina has a 2,570mm wheelbase, trunk space that can accommodate 475 liters of cargo, and seating for five. It is powered by a 1.4-liter gasoline engine with 95ps of power, mated to either a five-speed manual transmission, or a four-speed automatic.
Safety equipment include dual airbags and an anti-lock braking system (ABS).
HARI has also pitched the Reina to those "engaged in an online, logistics, or Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) enterprise."
Other Hyundai vehicles included in the Fast-Forward promo are the Kona crossover and Grand Starex van.
HARI is inviting customers to log on to www.hyundai.ph or www.facebook.com/hyundaiph to learn more about Hyundai passenger cars. Customers may also request for a quote, or apply for an auto loan through the Hyundai Online Market Experience (HOMEPage) at www.hyundai.ph/shop/HOME.
