HARI flaunts HD45 GT, HD78 GT trucks

Hariphil Asia Resources Inc. (HARI), the distributor of Hyundai commercial vehicles in the Philippines, has put the HD45 GT and HD78 GT trucks in the spotlight.

Touted as “trucks for all trades,” the Hyundai HD45 GT and HD78 GT are said to be commercial light trucks that can take on just about any role.

The new Hyundai HD45 GT, for example, has a loading space of 15 feet (ft) for the medium wheelbase (MWB) and 18ft for the long wheelbase (LWB). Both variants can carry loads as much as 2,130 kilograms (kg), for the MWB variant, and 2,090kg, for the LWB variant.

On that note, the Hyundai HD45 GT can be used for various types of roles such as carrying light construction materials or perishable goods.

Meanwhile, those looking for a truck that can bear heavier loads can turn to the Hyundai. The light-duty truck is offered in three variants: MWB, LWB, and extra-long wheelbase (ELWB). 

They offer a loading space of 15-, 18-, and 19.5-ft respectively. In terms of loading capacity, the variants are capable of carrying loads that weigh 5,215 kg, 4,844 kg, and 4,362 kg correspondingly.

Should the Hyundai HD45 GT and HD78 GT trucks require to cover long hauling distances, HARI said that they are more than capable thanks to their 2.9-liter turbocharged common rail direct inject (CRDI) diesel engine. The lightweight mill can put out as much as 160 horsepower.

HARI stated that the Hyundai HD45 GT and HD78 GT light commercial trucks are backed by a basic warranty and Hyundai’s three-year or 200,000-kilometer (whichever comes first) upper body warranty.
