HARI's commercial van now called as Hyundai Solati
The Philippine-spec H350 now goes by a new name.
The commercial van from the Korean mobility marque is now called the Solati, which was coined from the Latin word meaning “comfort” or “solace”.
Hariphil Asia Resources, Incorporated (HARI) revealed the vehicle’s new name during an initiative conducted with Flowerstore.ph.
Apart from the new name, the Hyundai Solati kept all the features of the H350.
The 16-seater vehicle measures 6,195 millimeters long, 2,038 mm wide, and 2,760 mm tall with a 3,670-mm wheelbase and ground clearance of 185 mm.
Also, the Hyundai Solati bore no difference with the H350 in terms of exterior and interior aesthetics.
Outside, the Hyundai Solati continues to have a black front bumper with integrated steps. It also maintained the five-door lay-out (two at the front, one at the side, and two at the rear) that can be locked electronically.
Inside, the Hyundai Solati features leatherette seats, overhead shelves, an air-conditioning system with vents for the front and rear, a roof-mounted ventilation, and electric power step.
Similar to the H350, the Hyundai Solati is equipped with a 2.5-liter turbocharged direct-inject diesel engine that can deliver almost 168 horsepower and nearly 422 Newton-meters of torque. The powertrain is still mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
Its stopping power comes from the hydraulic front and rear disc brakes, while absorbing the bumps and ruts on the road are the McPherson struts (front) as well as leaf springs (rear).
Further, other features that can be found in the Hyundai Solati include dual airbags anti-brakelock system, keyless entry system, and emergency glass hammer located at the vehicle’s left middle pillar.
