Buyers in the Philippines can get the Fast Johnnie on a pre-order basis only.Featuring factory-direct custom paint and graphic treatments, the latest two-wheel offering from the Bar and Shield marque are part of its limited-run “Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection.”
“We are thrilled to introduce new model additions to our limited-edition Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection, which have been created with our motorcycling community in mind. Our riders in The Philippines can be assured of a smooth and comfortable ride as they pursue their passion for adventure and the open road,” Harley-Davidson Asia Emerging Markets and India Managing Director Sajeev Rajasekharan was quoted as saying.
Per Harley-Davidson, the Fast Johnnie — which has global production limit of 2,000 units per trim — celebrates muscle car culture and the brand’s racing heritage. The Fast Johnnie paint scheme showcases the contrasting “racing” or “rally” striping over a bold base color, and a clever or symbolic character or logo incorporated into the graphics package.
“The striping graphic effect is a powerful signal to the generation that came of age during this era, and is still impactful today,” Harley-Davidson Vice President of Design and Creative Director Brad Richards said. “The Celestial Blue base color selected for Fast Johnnie recalls a popular tone from the muscle car era. For the graphic striping, we created a custom white color formulated to authentically reflect the era, executed in a classic thin-wide-thin pattern on the sides and top of the motorcycle bodywork. The look is a nod to pure Americana.”
On the tank and front fender “Harley-Davidson” script swaps one of the thin stripe elements. Depending on the motorcycle model, the striping is applied to the front and rear fenders, the fuel tank top and sides, the front of the fairing and the side covers and saddlebags. The Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection logo is on the rear fender.
In addition, the new vehicle line can be had in three options namely the Low Rider ST Fast Johnnie, Street Glide ST Fast Johnnie, and the Road Glide ST Fast Johnnie — all powered by Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin powertrains.
To note, the Harley-Davidson Low Rider ST model wears clean-and-lean West Coast style design and is priced at P1.76 million.
On the other hand, the Street Glide ST Fast Johnnie is fitted with new dark-and-bronze finishes and is being retailed with a P2.38 million-price tag.
Lastly, the Road Glide ST Fast Johnnie Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection wears intimidating looks and is pegged at P2.41 million.
Relatedly, Harley-Davidson of Manila said that all Fast Johnnie models can be had on pre-booking basis due to its limited production.
