Harley-Davidson of Manila expands portfolio with 2021 Pan America Special 1250
Harley-Davidson of Manila has just expanded its portfolio in the country with the introduction of 2021 Pan America Special 1250.
In a statement, the company said that the 2021 Harley-Davidson Pan America Special 1250 features “both the familiar and revolutionary to provide local followers of the American (brand) more reason to be more hooked to it. “
The latest adventure touring offering from the American motorcycle brand is set to rival the BMW R GS 1250 and Ducati Multistrada 1260 S—all ready to negotiate various terrains.
During the virtual launch over the weekend, Harley-Davidson of Manila President Francis Jonathan Ang claimed that the latest addition to the local roster is “designed and engineered to meet every true-blue off-roader’s dream.”
“Once we are all ready to ride again, we will surely be looking to visit more fun locations where we can bask in the ambience of the great outdoors. That’s why we are excited to bring you the 2021 Pan America Special in the Philippines,” Ang said.
“Designed to conquer any terrain, the 2021 Pan America Special will suit your taste for adventure. A mixture of both the familiar and the revolutionary, this adventure bike has placed form and function in a rugged package that is uniquely Harley-Davidson,” he noted.
Powering the 2021 Harley-Davidson Pan America Special 1250 is a liquid-cooled, electronic sequential port fuel-injected, Revolution Max 1250 engine matched to a six-gear drivetrain. This pairing has a rated maximum torque of 128Nm and 18.18 kilometers per liter. Its tank is capable of holding 21.2 liters of fuel, making it a noteworthy ride for long journeys.
It sits on aluminum cast satin black wheels (or the optional anodized aluminum tubeless laced tires) that are fitted with radially-mounted, monoblock four-piston caliper in the front and floating single piston caliper in the rear for sufficient stopping power.
Giving it a commanding presence on the road is its 2,265mm-long stance and 175mm ground clearance, which enable it to various terrain. Ensuring supreme riding comfort is the laden seat height of 836mm to match the 1,580mm wheelbase.
Tech-wise, the 2021 Harley-Davidson Pan America Special 1250 has numerous technological features such as the 6.8-inch gauge TFT touchscreen display that is Bluetooth-ready for mobile phone access to calls music, navigation (via H-D App only).
With a starting price of ₱1.4 million, the 2021 Harley-Davidson Pan America Special 1250 is available in four colors:
- Deadwood Green,
- Baja Orange/Stonewashed White Pearl,
- Gauntlet Gray Metallic, and
- Vivid Black.
Harley-Davidson of Manila Assistant Vice President Jay Bautista said that the 2021 Pan America Special 1250 is now available at the dealerships in BGC and EDSA Greenhills.
