Harley Owners Group-Manila gets support from Unionbank

Union Bank of the Philippines (Unionbank) has thrown its support to the Harley Owners Group-Manila Chapter’s project dubbed the “PH Ride with Purpose.”

In a statement, the banking institution shared that it is the platinum sponsors for the group composed of Harley-Davidson motorcycle owners to highlight its commitment to underscore its commitment to environmental sustainability and community development.

Eyed to also foster camaraderie and strengthening social connections while championing local tourism, the PH Ride with Purpose will be held tomorrow (June 24) up to June 25 at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

In addition, the event aims to promote Subic Bay Freeport as a premier motorcycle tourist destination, generating a positive impact on the local economy.

"We're really grateful to Unionbank for trusting HOG Manila as a partner to share our vision and to help in nation building. By supporting us on this event, they are also helping our eco-park and many of our other social responsibility projects," HOG Manila Chapter President and Director Yen Roxas was quoted as saying.

"Hopefully, this is a good start for us, especially since we are both aligned in our vision," he added.

Earlier, HOG Manila invited riders from all backgrounds to join the event that includes live performances from rock bands namely The Breed and Razorback with Basti Artadi, as well as sets by DJ Bia.

Proceeds from the event will support HOG Manila Chapter's social responsibility projects, including the Daang Kalikasan Eco-Park. This co-development initiative with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources aims to enhance the five-hectare National Greening Program plantation in Barangay Muelang, Mangatarem, Pangasinan, by planting and nurturing trees.
