Hatasu Philippines is set to establish six more secondary warehouses in the country within the next two years.In a statement, EMOTO Electronic Technology (which participated during the 10th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit) entered the Philippine market to bring in the Kumi, Mako, and Nero electric two-wheeled vehicles.
Originally located in Wuxi, Jiangsu, Hatasu brought three electronic vehicles namely the Kumi, Mako, and Nero.
To ensure that it will have the capacity to meet the demands of customers, the brand has opened an office in Ortigas and its initial warehouse in Cainta, Rizal with a target to put up six more secondary warehouses in the country within the next two years.
Globally, Hatasu is eyeing to boost presence to all Southeast Asian countries by 2025.
Hatasu Philippines said that its products were created to be “youthful, fashionable, and practical.” The vehicles are powered by a 350-watt motor with a 48-volt, 20-ampere battery.
“We stayed here in the Philippines for several years and we truly appreciate the country so much. We are also true to our mission to be a catalyst for change and to contribute for a greener environment,” Hatasu Chief Executive Officer Cheng Huang was quoted as saying.
Further, Huang noted that the firm has bigger plans in the coming year.
“Expect the brand to be more visible to other parts of the region in the country in 2023 as we bring our services and products that will surely help ease and improve the transportation issues of Filipinos,” he said.
