Mini is a brand known not only for making cars that drive like go-karts. The marque is also known for producing nameplates that have fun and elegant designs — like the Clubman Untold Edition.
On that note, we take a look at some of the notable features offered by the small family wagon.
Striking and very noticeable are the elegant exterior appointments offered by the Mini Clubman Untold Edition.
At the front are black appliques that come in the form of its sheen headlight housings and its blacked-out Mini emblem. Likewise, it also wears a brushed gold accent that surrounds its black honeycomb grille. The same golden trim is also applied on the center of the front fascia.
To its side are large 18-inch alloy wheels in Untold Spoke design with bi-color surfaces in the Jet Black/Refined Brass combination. Adding a dash of elegance to the side profile of the Mini Clubman Untold Edition are wheel arches finished in matte green, paired with door claddings that are swathed in the same hue.
Its rear end is decorated with the “CLUBMAN” script in gold. It also has stylish Union Jack taillamps and unique swing-out doors.
The Mini Clubman Untold Edition is as classy inside as it is on the outside.
Featured are comfortable leather seats, a leather-wrapped multi-functional steering wheel, and soft-touch materials lining the wagon’s cabin.
Several gold and chrome trims can also be found on the Mini Clubman Untold Edition’s interior. They can be found on the dashboard, the center console, and on the door trims.
Inside, one can also spot the oval-shaped instrument cluster as well as the infotainment system housed in a circular display panel.
The Mini Clubman Untold Edition is not only elegant and stylish, but it also boasts features that make it a sporty daily driver and a functional family car.
Outside, the wagon boasts a sporty decal that starts from its bonnet and ends on its roof-mounted spoiler. It also dons a faux hood vent.
On its side are black A-, B-, and C-pillars that give the automobile a floating roof design.
Its rear boasts functional twin exhaust pipes.
Inside are paddle shifters, which help the Mini Clubman Untold Edition offer its would-be owners that fun and exciting go-kart-like experience.
When it comes to functionality, the boot area of the Mini Clubman Untold Edition is capable of accommodating up to 1,250 liters of space.
Finally, under its bonnet is a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder gasoline engine with Mini TwinPower Turbo Technology (turbocharging, direct injection, Valvetronic). It is mated to a seven-speed Steptronic Sport transmission with a double clutch.
On paper, the Mini Clubman Untold Edition makes as much as 178 horses and a maximum torque of 280 Newton-meters.
Speed, according to Mini, peaks at 228 kilometers per hour.
The Mini Clubman Untold Edition offers the perfect balance of sportiness and elegance, all complemented with a dash of functionality, which makes it the ideal car for the modern Filipino family.
Only six samples of the Mini Clubman Untold Edition have been allocated to the Philippines, Each is priced at P3.8 million.
