A source confirmed to Carmudi Philippines that the electrified sport utility vehicle (SUV) from the South Korean automaker will officially be introduced during the 8th PIMS.

Earlier, HMPH Managing Director Cecil Capacete announced that the said model, along with two others,  will be unveiled to the local market within the year.

Meanwhile, Kia Philippines will start to compete in the local EV arena as it poised to unveil the all-new EV6. The upcoming model, which carries the same platform as the aforementioned Hyundai model, will be AC Motors’ initial entry in the growing EV segment in the country.

The all-new Kia EV6, which made its global debut last year, comes in two motor layouts (a rear-wheel-drive and an all-wheel-drive) and a pair of battery options (58 and 77.4 kilowatt hours [kWh>).

The said model has already earned a five-star rating from the European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP).

    Honda HR-V RS

Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) will showcase the sporty iteration of the all-new Honda HR-V, called the all-new HR-V RS Turbo Honda Sensing. The said variation is also seen in Malaysian market.

The company will also exhibit the accessorized City 1.5 CVT and Civic RS Turbo CVT Honda Sensing.

However, HCPI will also have a “preview of an all-new Honda model that will only be shown during the motor show.”
