Geely unleashed its latest entry to the subcompact crossover segment with the GX3 Pro.
The new contender, touted as a no-compromise sport utility vehicle (SUV), comes with decent features but is sold for a reasonable price.

The poster color of the Geely GX3 Pro, red is the perfect hue to embody one of the best advantages of this crossover.
Under its hood is a 1.5-liter powerplant that is shared by the Geely Emgrand. Having one of the most powertrain setups for the category, the GX3 Pro makes as much as 105 horsepower and 142 Newton-meters of torque.
Shifting is aided by a continuously variable transmission, which also makes it a good car for beginner drivers.
The Geely GX3 Pro looks like a full-fledged family car in this white paint. That’s because white is the safest color in the palette and is one of the reasons why most automobiles used by many Filipino families are in this shade.
For its actual safety features, the Geely GX3 Pro offers standard amenities like airbags and seatbelts, an anti-lock braking system, hill-start assist, traction and stability control, cruise control, and a reverse camera.
Blue is often the color that embodies wisdom and sometimes technology. On that note, tech-savvy car buyers will enjoy some of the features offered by the Geely GX3 Pro, which are its 3.5-inch instrument cluster, eight-inch infotainment system, sunroof, and six speakers.
This gray color makes the Geely GX3 Pro look like a reliable ride. Additionally, the said color can still look good even if one forgets to wash the car as dust and dirt are not easily seen in this gray finish.
In terms of reliability, the Geely GX3 Pro offers ventilated disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. Suspension-wise, it has Mac Pherson struts at the fore and a torsion beam setup at the back.
For its lights, the Geely GX3 Pro has projector halogen headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, and LED combination taillamps. All of which provide good visibility even at night.
The Geely GX3 Pro might have limited colors but its four-hue palette can satisfy the needs of many car buyers.
The Geely GX3 Pro is offered in two variants and is priced from P778,000 to P878,000.
