Here are the e-drivers who qualified for the Toyota GR GT Cup PH 2023 national finals
A total of eight virtual racers have successfully qualified for the national finals for this year’s Toyota Gazoo Racing Gran Turismo Cup Philippines (TGR GT Cup PH) and are set to bring their A-games anew at the upcoming TGR Festival on August 24.

The competition will be held in the upcoming TGR Festival set for August 24 at the Quirino Grandstand.Following the culmination of the three local rounds, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) announced the Top 8 Sporting Class e-racers who will advance to National Finals to be held at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila are as follows:

- Matthew Ang
- Mark Elman
- Luis Moreno
- Topher Tejada
- Estefano Rivera
- Bob Villangca
According to TMP, the aforementioned players will race for a chance to represent the Philippines at the Asia Regional (to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). They were picked based on their overall points garnered from the three local rounds.
The TGR GT Cup PH 2023 had its final round last August 4 and participants were able to drive the virtual Toyota GR010 Hybrid on the Nürburgring GP track.
To note, the vehicle that e-racers used to compete under the Gran Turismo 7 game is equipped with a powerful four-wheel-drive racing hybrid powertrain.
David Enzo Ison once again conquered the Junior Class (coming out on top on all three rounds of the series). Trailing him to the checkered flag were Russo Gabriel Formoso and Satoshi Jacobo Taguchi Paredes in second and third places, respectively.
Meanwhile, Stanley Theodore Golez was the champion in the final leg’s promotional category. Jan Rene Cortez Aldiosa placed second and Benedict Salido, on third.
Defending the top podium in the Sporting Class against second-placer Jether Miole and third-spot finisher Matthew Spencer Ang (third placer) was Russel Reyes.
Relatedly, those who wish to show support to their favorite e-racers may attend the forthcoming TGR Festival slated this month. Aside from witnessing the exciting sim racing, they can also watch drifting and gymkhana exhibitions by international and local pro drivers and experience exhilarating entertainment from guest bands.
