Here are the winners in the 2024 TGR PH Cup season opener
MANILA: The opening round of the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Philippine Cup 2024 was filled with high octane-wheel-to-wheel action.

The next leg is scheduled on September 28, 2024.More than 30 drivers took part in the first leg of Toyota Motor Philippines’ (TMP) motorsport program (formerly known as the Vios Cup) — competing in the sprint and endurance contests.
TMP President Masando Hashimoto joined the races under the Novice Class (the latest division under circuit racing) together with the top performers from the Autocross Challenge namely influencers Lexi Mendiola and Reph Bangsil, media racers Jamil Lacuna, Jose Altoveros, Pablo Salapantan and John Ray San Diego, as well as sim racer Russel Reyes.
Meanwhile, new and seasoned drivers comprised the Promotional, Sporting, and Super Sporting classes.

Further, car club members were welcomed for a track day and drifters Hanz Jimenez and Dane Cruz had an exhibition afterwards.
Some of those who were at the Clark International Speedway that day were able to ride shotgun during the drifting exhibition.
In addition, freebies were made available at the sponsors and TGR GT Cup experience booths.
Ending the event was the performance from Autotelic, raffle for the public, and the awarding of winners.
TMP said that the next leg of the TGR Philippine Cup race weekend shall be on September 28.
