Here's the Upcoming Mitsubishi MPV In All Its Illuminated Glory
Mitsubishi Motors has finally revealed what its ASEAN-market compact MPV looks like under the lights, nearly a week after it first teased us with images of the vehicle partly hidden in the shadow.
With the latest revelation, Mitsubishi has also given us more details about its yet-to-be-named MPV, like how the 1.5-liter gasoline-fed engine comes with MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control) "for high power output, low fuel consumption," and is mated to either a manual or automatic transmission. It also has three tiers of lighting, with the LED daytime running lights located in the engine hood side trim to make the vehicle more noticeable while the headlights are mounted lower with the fog lamps located down by the front brush guard. The MPV is also equipped with a keyless operation system that lets the vehicle be opened and the engine started while the key fob is still in the driver's pocket. Mitsubishi also shared that the MPV's ground clearance is a class-leading 205 mm.
As for the name, it will reportedly be revealed when the vehicle makes its debut at the 2017 Indonesia International Auto Show.
What do you think of Mitsubishi's new MPV now that you can see its sheet metal clearly?
