Ford Philippines, the official distributor of the Blue Oval in the country, has just launched the all new Ford Transit.
Now boasting space, intelligent features, and cost-efficient after sales value, the Ford Transit is made to give transport and mobility businesses an additional thrust in their respective operations.
"Given its global success in boosting productivity for businesses, we at Ford are excited to bring the all-new Transit with the continued growth of the light commercial bus and van segment (LCBV) in the Philippines. The all-new Transit offers unique appeal to businesses and relevant sectors and is poised to help drive productivity and business growth." said PK Umashankar, managing director of Ford Philippines.
The all-new Ford Transit--set to compete against Hyundai H350 and Foton Toano --is designed to compliment and support business sectors looking for optimized load space, dynamic exterior design, and enhanced comfort in their commercial vehicles.
These include businesses related to education, hotels and resorts, travel and tourism, medical, business process outsourcing, corporate, and even retail.
Powering the Ford Transit is a 2.2-liter Duratorq Diesel engine that can churn out 133 horsepower and 385Nm torque. It's mated to a six-speed Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) manual transmission.
The Transit's generous space is made possible by its size: 5,981mm long, 2,474mm wide, and 2,517mm tall. It can seat 15 people, and offers 21 stowage bins, 12 cup holders, and multiple power sockets.
This light commercial bus offers safety features that can greatly enhance the ride experience for drivers and passengers alike.
For maximum convenience, comfort, and stress prevention, the newest Transit comes with a rear-view camera, extra wide doors, rear cargo doors, with 180-degree opening capacity, easy clean non-slip rubber flooring, power side step, power folding side mirrors, hill launch assist, and load stabilization.
Its safety features include Electronic Stability Program (ESP), 15 three-point seat-belts with head rests, and also an escape hatch for emergency situations.
The all-new Transit is fitted with a three-bar grille, halogen reflector headlamps with daytime running lights, fog lamps, steel wheels with hub caps, black bumpers and side moldings, and rear bumper with integrated step.
The newest Transit offers outstanding after-sales value. It has been engineered for minimum maintenance and repair labor times, only requiring a once-a-year scheduled service interval.
What's more, it provides all customers purchasing the all-new Transit this year with a five-year scheduled service maintenance plan to further boost growth and productivity.
The Transit comes in three colors: Frozen White, Moondust Silver, and Magnetic Metal. Its retail price is Php2.3 million, and is available in all Ford dealerships nationwide.
