Here’s what to expect at the 8th PIMS

The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) is all set for the official return of the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) next month.

    For the 8th PIMS, CAMPI’s 13 member-participants as BMWCheryFotonGeelyHondaHyundaiIsuzuKiaMazdaMitsubishiNissanSuzuki, and Toyota will showcase their latest and most recent innovations that will drive the future of mobility.

    “We aim to unite and drive our collective towards a united mission of building a better and more sustainable future for Filipinos through mobility. We will accomplish this by coming together to showcase the positive impact of sustainable and future-ready innovations on our day-to-day lives” said CAMPI President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez.

    Foton, being the event’s official mobility partner, will deploy three modernized jeepneys to ferry guests for free from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. between two pick-up points: the event area (World Trade Center) and SMX Convention Center during the four-day event.

    Further, the Bank of the Philippines Inc. (BPI) will be the event’s exclusive auto financing partner.

    In a statement, CAMPI said that the motor show will feature car launches and displays in the brand booths and daily presentations as well as a test drive area to check out the latest offerings from the participating brands.

    Further, the event will also have aftermarket retail booths where special parts and service appointments will be offered, and several car clubs will hold car meets during the duration of the motor show.

    Tickets will be purchased at the venue for P200 each but the first 1,000 ticket buyers every show day will have a 50-percent discount. Gates will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
