Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) announced that the initial batch of units of the all-new BR-V has reached local shores in time for its official debut this month.
The Japanese automaker’s local arm said that it is ready to accept reservations for the aforementioned model (which had its preview at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show).
“We are excited to share news of the arrival of our stocks of the all-new BR-V. We are ready for launch and looking forward to reaching out to more Filipino families and being part of their journeys. With its design and features, the all-new Honda BR-V will bring the SUV experience of customers to the next level,” HCPI President Masahiko Nakamura said.
HCPI’s all-new Honda BR-V will be powered by a 1.5-liter double overhead cam i-VTEC engine with a maximum of 119 horsepower and 145Nm of torque. The mill is paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a new continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The vehicle also boasts a dynamic body shape, with strong lines, and new 17-inch wheels for its exterior as well as flexible interior that features a one-touch tumble second-row seats, plus a dive-down mechanism for the third row.
Further, the all-new Honda BR-V comes with a Remote Engine Start as well as a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ready.
Moreover, the top-of-the-line all-new Honda BR-V will be the country's sixth model that will be equipped with the Honda Sensing host of safety technologies that include:
Apart from that, the vehicle has the following features as standard: Speed Sensing Auto Door Locks, Dual and Side Airbags, Reverse Camera with Guidelines, Driver and Front Passenger Seat Belt Reminder, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist, Security Alarm, Immobilizer, Emergency Stop Signal and ISOFix Child Seat Anchor.
It can be recalled that the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia (ASEAN NCAP) awarded the all-new Honda BR-V with a five-star rating.

According to HCPI, those who want the Premium Opal White Silver Pearl hue will pay an additional P20,000.
