Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH) has announced a partnership forged with Hino Motors Philippines Corporation (HMP) to boost the production of the utility van body for the Carry.
In a statement, SPH said that the alliance was made to meet the increasing demand, following the rise of small-to-medium enterprises (SME) and organizations looking for a reliable partner to meet their commercial business needs.
The local arm of Suzuki said that its newest partner (formerly Pilipinas Hino, Inc.) has long been engaged in the assembly and distribution of quality Hino trucks, buses and spare parts.
“Widely known in the industry as a “one-stop shop” – from chassis assembly, bodybuilding, and vehicle maintenance, repair and refurbishing – they are the first bus body manufacturer in the nation to receive an ISO 9001:2000 Certification, a distinction that proves beyond doubt its unmatched product quality,” SPH shared.
“With their long-standing expertise, Hino Motors Philippines Corporation now joins Suzuki’s production team, along with the brand’s existing body builder partners,” it added.
The latest declaration overlaps with Suzuki’s ongoing promo for the Carry this year, wherein customers who purchase any variant of the Carry until the end of the year are entitled to three years or 45,000 kilometers worth of free periodic maintenance service (PMS) labor, engine oil, oil filter, and gasket changes and replacements.
“We are excited to have Hino Motors on board as one of our body builders to further strengthen the production lines of the ever-popular Suzuki Carry,” SPH Vice President and General Manager of Automobile Division Keiichi Suzuki was quoted as saying.
“Rest assured, Suzuki will have more units of the Carry available this year to go to work with you and be your reliable partner in fulfilling your business needs.”
