MANILA: HomeAuto Incorporated has brought Li Auto to the Philippine market.
In a statement, the firm shared that the Beijing-headquartered marque’s move to be present in the country displays its commitment in tap other markets worldwide and “cater to the growing demand for premium, sustainable mobility solutions.”
Further, the local arm noted that the brand it carries was able to deliver more than 500,508 vehicles to customers in 2024. Such a performance showed a 33-percent increase over the 376,030 examples turned over to buyer in 2023.
“We are thrilled to introduce Li Auto’s innovative smart electric vehicles to the Philippines,” HomeAuto Incorporated Chief Executive Officer Stone Yu said.
“The local market presents a significant opportunity for us with its increasing awareness of electric vehicles and interest in modern technology. Filipinos’ strong family values align perfectly with our vision so we are confident that they will appreciate the unique blend of luxury and technology that Li Auto offers,” he added.
Li Auto’s initial roster is made up of L7 and L9, which are both plug-in hybrid sport utility vehicles.
A five-seater crossover, the Li L7 offers its clients a premium and spacious cabin covered mostly in Nappa leather.
Meanwhile, the full-sized SUV Li L9 boasts a five-screen, three-dimensional interactive intelligent cockpit.

The two models are equipped with 1.5-liter engines that serve as generators to feed their electric mills’ batteries.
Further, the two models are outfitted with advanced autonomous driving sensor systems.
In an interview, Li Auto Philippines Marketing Director Emmah Qiao told Carmudi Philippines that it will soon introduce multi-purpose vehicle locally.
Upon checking Li Auto’s website, we found out that the minivan — named Li Mega overseas — can cover 710 kms, thanks to its 102.7-kilowatt-hour battery.
She also relayed that Li Auto Philippines will soon have its flagship showroom in Bonifacio Global City.
