Motorcycle enthusiasts looking to get the special Honda BeAT 50th Anniversary Limited Edition might only have up until the end of the year to cop one.
Honda Philippines Incorporated (HPI) Motorcycle Sales and Supply Chain Management Vice President Jomel Jerezo told Carmudi Philippines that the company plans to retail the Honda BeAT 50th Anniversary Limited Edition only until December.
“Actually, yung plan namin, until December sales… up to that volume lang. Pero yung total volume, still confidential, we still have to disclose with our dealers pa kasi yun (Actually, our plan is to sell it only until December. The actual volume is still confidential since we still have to disclose it with our dealers),” he noted.
Jerezo then explained that the company has to properly communicate and allocate units to its dealers since the all-new Honda BeAT 50th Anniversary Limited Edition comes only in limited numbers.
Catching the eyes of many motorcycle fans is the all-new Honda BeAT 50th Anniversary Limited Edition’s beautiful livery with white, blue, and red colors.
To add to the new skin, HPI also slapped the anniversary-edition scoot with a “50th Anniversary” sticker at the fore. The decals on its flanks also bear the “50th Anniversary” script.
HPI packed the all-new BeAT 50th Anniversary Limited Edition with more than just good looks. Across the board, all variants of the all-new BeAT flaunt a new LED headlight, a new semi-digital meter panel, a secure key shutter with a new seat opener, a new power charger with lid, a larger 12-liter luggage box, and a larger 4.2-liter fuel tank.
Other notable features come in the form of cast wheels with tubeless tires, a combined braking system, and a side stand switch.
Most importantly, HPI gave the all-new Honda BeAT the new-generation 110 cubic centimeter ESP engine.
Per the motorcycle brand, the new small-displacement powerplant can go from zero to 200 meters in 13.1 seconds with a top speed of 90 kilometers per hour. As for its fuel consumption, HPI revealed that using the World Motorcycle Test Cycle method, the all-new BeAT clocked in at 58.2 kilometers per liter.
The all-new Honda BeAT 50th Anniversary Limited Edition — for those interested in keeping what could possibly be a collector’s item — is offered with a price tag of P74,400.
To note, the all-new Honda BeAT 50th Anniversary Limited Edition was launched alongside the new Click 125 50th Anniversary Limited Edition.
