Honda Cars PH bags 7 honors at Autofocus People’s & Media's Choice Awards

Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) announced that it has received a total of seven awards at the 2021-2022 Auto Focus People’s & Media’s Choice Awards.

Held last December 16, the annual award-giving ceremony — now on its 17th edition — is organized by Sunshine Television and Marketing Services, Inc. (STV).

In the People’s Choice Awards, the Honda Odyssey won the Luxury Standard Van/MPV for the seventh consecutive time. According to the local arm of the Japanese automotive brand, the recognition over the years “reaffirm the Odyssey’s dynamic and commanding presence.” “These defining qualities deliver satisfaction to the customers’ needs and demands for a luxurious and comfortable people hauler,” HCPI said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the motoring journalists awarded six awards to four models in the Media’s Choice Awards.

The all-new Honda City Hatchback bested its class in the “Best Design” and “Best Engine Performance” division. “It goes to show that the new kid in the block packs a lot of potential, whether it be looks, space, and performance. The All-New City Hatchback simply ticks all the right boxes,” the company noted.

The Honda Brio also took two awards in the mini-hatch segment, claiming the “Best Engine Performance” and “Best Safety Features” accolades.

Further, the Honda Accord and Honda Civic got the Best Engine Performance in their respective segments.

For his part, HCPI President Masahiko Nakamura expressed gratitude to the STV team, the people who voted, and the media for the recognition. “Honda commits to always give our best to our customers through our products and services. Thank you for your continued support,” Nakamura was quoted as saying.
