Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is eyeing to retain its superiority in the C-segment with the recently launched version of the Civic.
HCPI Sales Division Head Atty. Louie Soriano revealed that currently, the Honda Civic has already cornered 53 percent of the total volume of units sold in the country’s compact sedan category.
“In order for us to at least maintain or improve that we have to sell at least 172-200 units per month,” Soriano explained.
During the virtual press conference, Soriano said that the goal is doable despite delays in the delivery of a certain variant, adding that they have already considered such a situation when they were setting the sales target for the nameplate.
Further, Soriano assured that buyers of the all-new Honda Civic — which is said to be the “Best Civic ever” — can expect their timely delivery of their units.
The all-turbocharged lineup of the newest version of the Honda Civic is equipped with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder DOHC VTEC Turbo engine mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). To add, the said model recently received five stars in the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia (ASEAN NCAP).
The 11th-generation Honda Civic is now being offered to the market in three variants at the following price points:
The all-new Honda Civic sedan offering is available in five hues: Morning Mist Blue Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Ignite Red Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic and Platinum White Pearl — with the last color option being offered at no extra cost until the end of this month.
Getting the said color after the promotion would be an additional P20,000 to Honda Civic buyers. This is available in the RS Turbo CVT and V Turbo CVT only.
Furthermore, HCPI noted that those who will reserve the all-new Honda Civic V Turbo CVT variant until end of 2021 will be given a free Modulo Trunk Tray and Modulo Exhaust Pipe Finisher “on top of all other promotions offered for the month of the vehicle release until January 31, 2022.”
