After the discontinuation of the five-door Jazz in the Philippine market, Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) has announced the coming of another hatch offering in the country: the all-new City Hatchback next week.
The all-new Honda City Hatchback follows the introduction of the fifth-generation subcompact sedan in October last year in line with the local distributor’s 30th anniversary celebration.
According to Honda, it is further “leveling up its presence” in the hotly contested B-segment category as its latest contender “embodies a stylish exterior design, outstanding interior space, and advanced technologies.”
This forthcoming offering is expected to elevate the famous nameplate further by introducing a new sporty five-door hatchback.
HCPI also claimed that the upcoming all-new City hatchback is fitted “with an improved overall package and versatility that would complement the diverse needs of customers and their active lifestyles.”
In Thailand, the all-new City Hatchback is offered in three variants: S+, SV and RS. We just hope that they would be bringing the RS in the country, too.
The all-new City Hatchback will be revealed in HCPI’s official Facebook page on April 20, 2021 at 12:30 pm.
