Honda Cars Philippines Incorporated (HCPI) shall bring in the updated version of the City Hatchback next month following its launch in 2021.
Per the Japanese marque’s automotive distributor in the country, the new City Hatchback will arrive in the country on June 14.
The announcement for its arrival came with the welcoming of its pre-orders, which will start today and go on up to June 13. Those who will reserve a unit will have the P5,000 reservation fee waived for their purchase.
According to HCPI, the refreshed Honda City Hatchback will have an upgraded look as well as improved technologies compared to the outgoing iteration.
The car’s forthcoming version, HCPI said, shall come with a new body kit for its RS variant while the cabin, an eight-inch touchscreen display audio with Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Spaciousness will be assured by its Utility, Long, Tall, and Refresh seating systems.
Further, the new City Hatchback are to be equipped with Honda Sensing system that has adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking system, lane keeping assist, road departure mitigation with lane departure warning, and lead car departure notification.
The soon-to-be-launched iteration will be retailed in five color options namely Sonic Gray Pearl (new hue that is also available in Thailand), Platinum White Pearl, Ignite Red Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic.
Since the new City Hatchback is a md-cycle refresh, the car will likely retain the 1.5-liter, in-line four-cylinder, double overhead cam i-VTEC engine paired with a continuously variable transmission set-up seen in the outgoing iteration.
