Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) announced that it will be recognizing its skilled and well-trained service associates through the 23rd National Skills Contest (NSC).

    HCPI 23rd National Skills Contest

    The National Skills Contest is made up of seven categories namely:

    • Quick Repair Category: Quality and Speed
    • General Repair Category: Fix-right the first time
    • Paint Repair Category: Honda Paint Repair Standard
    • Body Repair Category: Honda Body Repair Standard
    • Service Advisor BP Category: Interpersonal skills and quotation accuracy
    • Service Advisor GR Category: Interpersonal Skills and quotation accuracy
    • Customer Relations Category: Customer care/satisfaction

    Per HCPI, the aforementioned program is for its dealer service associates to showcase their valuable skills that are in line with global best practices designed to elevate service quality.

    “This allows HCPI to achieve superior customer satisfaction in after-sales service and at the same time enhance the pride and joy of dealer service associates through the regional and global benchmarking of after-sales service processes,” the company explained.

    Further, the recognition program urges the brand’s dealer service associates in the country to develop a challenging spirit that would help them continuously strive to improve their skills based on global standards.

    “The National Skills Contest recognizes the valuable skills of dealer service associates and their contribution to the joy and peace of mind to our customers. We expect that team members throughout the dealership network will uphold their good practices and share their abilities through this program so that we can also enhance customers’ safety while protecting the quality of our products” HCPI President Masahiko Nakamura was quoted as saying.

    HCPI boasted that its dealerships and service centers have highly skilled technicians and dedicated staff that utilizes state-of-the-art tools and equipment. In its bid to continuously improve its service, Honda regularly conducts development programs and improvement initiatives for dealer associates that will also enhance customer satisfaction throughout the network.

    In addition, programs like the NSC guarantee that customers receive not only genuine parts, lubricants, and accessories service areas but also service that is aligned with global standards that guarantee safety.
