Honda CR-V Wins Two Major Awards at ASEAN NCAP Grand Prix Awards 2018

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), Honda’s automobile business unit in the Philippines, is pleased to announce that the Honda CR-V received two distinguished safety-related awards at the ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries) Grand Prix Awards 2018, which took place in Karawang, Indonesia. The Honda CR-V won the 'Best SUV Car' in Child Occupant Protection (COP) and the 'ASEAN NCAP Excellent Award - Consistent 5 Star.' This achievement emphasizes Honda's strong commitment to safety and its vision to realize a collision-free mobile society. The fifth-generation Honda CR-V, which has been awarded a 5-Star ASEAN NCAP safety rating, was selected as the safest car in the SUV car category in Child Occupant Protection (COP). The all-new CR-V made its ASEAN debut in Thailand in March 2017 and has since expanded sales to eight other countries, with over 70,000 units sold across the region. The model has received several prestigious awards in ASEAN countries such as:

• Philippines: CAGI’s Philippines Car of the Year 2017
