Honda Europe updated its Africa Twin Adventure Sports. The new additions to the adventure bike include an aluminum rear carrier, revised dual clutch, adjustable windscreen, and new graphics.
The Africa Twin Adventure Sports' dual clutch transmission (DCT) received tweaks in in its first and second gears, which is said to improve handling at low speeds, or when starting from a standstill. Manual or automatic shifting can be done with the DCT.
As for the adjustable screen, it's 4.4 inches shorter than before to improve visibility while keeping the rider protected from wind and weather.
The Africa Twin Adventure Sports will be finished in Pearl Glare White Tricolor or Matte Ballistic Black Metallic. Both colors will be paired to the “Cracked Terrain” graphics, and the aluminum side covers and rear carrier in black.
Another piece of standard equipment is the 1,084cc four-stroke parallel-twin engine, which generates 100hp. Feeding fuel to the engine is the 24.8-liter of tank, which promises a a potential range of over 500 kilometers.
Meanwhile, high-quality and adjustable 45 millimeter Showa inverted front forks and rear shock promise optimum damping settings all the time. The optional Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment aims to improve the Africa Twin Adventure's ride quality further.
The rider can listen to music and navigation through the infotainment system, which allows for Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth connection.
