Honda PH, HARC-Pro start Daquigan, Sablaya training
After forging their collaboration, Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) and SDG Motorsports HARC-PRO Philippines started its “Road to Champion” campaign for two Filipino riders.

Training Daquigan and Sablaya are Yuki Kunii, Teppei Nagoe, and Haruki Noguchi.In a statement, the leading motorcycle distributor in the country shared that young riders Alfonsi Daquigan and Jakob Sablaya are currently receiving hands-on training from HARC-PRO under the leadership of its founder, Shigeki Honda. The training is being conducted at the Tarlac Circuit Hill.
Training Daquigan and Sablaya are Japanese world-class coaches and riders Yuki Kunii (former Moto3 Honda Team Asia Rider), Teppei Nagoe (J-GP2 Champion with MuSASHi RT HARC-PRO), and Haruki Noguchi (who will compete in the 2023 ASB1000 Race Category in Asia Road Racing Championships).
The Filipino riders noted the importance of training in order for them to be prepared physically, mentally, and emotionally while inside the track. They also expressed firm belief that “determination, discipline, and perseverance” will make them better racers in the future.
Aside from Kunii, HARC-PRO has produced world-class talents like Hiroshi Aoyama (former GP250 World Champion and now Honda Team Asia’s Team Manager); Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda Team competing in MotoGP and a former Japan Road Racing Champion); former MotoGP World Champions Casey Stoner, Nicky Hayden and Jack Miller; as well as World Superbike racers (WSBK) Michael Van der Mark and Leon Haslam.
