The local distributor for Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Honda has revealed the latest generation X-ADV.
Built for the urban city and off road, the Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) unleashed the second-generation X-ADV, the bigger (and more capable) version of the ADV150 scooter.
Powered by a 745cc parallel-twin, SOHC eight-valve, liquid-cooled, Euro 5-compliant engine mated to a six-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT), the bike can deliver 57.2 horsepower and 68.7Nm torque.
But what makes this big bike contender innovative is the five-inch TFT Full-LCD digital meter with Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCS), which allows riders to access smartphone features through voice command.
The aforementioned system lets users link their mobile phone via Bluetooth using Honda Road Sync application and an intercom with Bluetooth capability. This would help the rider access navigation systems, create texts or messages, listen to music, and check the weather via voice command, allowing riders to use their phones without having to take it out.
Other prominent features of the Honda X-ADV are the improved exterior design and headlights with Daytime Running Lights (DRL), front and rear disk brake, upside-down front fork, smart key with Electronic Steering Lock (ESL), Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), throttle by wire, and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS).
Available in Graphite Black, Matte Beta Silver Metallic and Grand Prix Red, the all-new Honda X-ADV is available at all of Honda Big Bike dealerships priced at P830,000.
