Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) has launched the 2022 iteration of the CB650R to the local market.
According to Japanese manufacturer's local distributor, the new Honda CB650R has combined the attention-grabbing neo-retro styling and reliable performance that can be driven daily to beat traffic jams or as a weekend thrilling joyride companion.
“If an allure of masculinity with multi-tasking capabilities is what you’re after, the new CB650R is guaranteed to capture anyone’s interest and imagination,” HPI shared in a statement.
Providing power for the new Honda CB650R is a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 16-valve, double overhead cam in-line four-cylinder, 649cc engine that is designed to provide 93.4 horses and maximum torque of 63.3Nm.
The same power mill can reach a fuel efficiency rating of 20.9 kpl and is Euro 5-compliant.
First shown at the 2018 EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan, the neo café racer — which is available in three color variants (Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Matte Jeans Blue Metallic, and Candy Chromosphere Red) — sports the erotic naked bike aesthetics with its exposed inline four-cylinder engine, sculpted tank and sleek seat style.
The new Honda CB650R also comes with a full LED illumination system and a digital gauge.
Aside from that, the expressway-legal motorcycle features a sturdy steel diamond frame, as well as adjustable front and rear suspensions, two-channel anti-brakelock system, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS).
The new Honda CB650R is available at all Honda Flagship Stores around the country with a suggested retail price of P504,000.
