The country’s leading motorcycle distributor Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) has announced the introduction of the all-new CBR500R.
In its statement, HPI shared that the all-new Honda CBR500R is packed with new and advanced features that helps dish out athletic performance and handling.
An expressway-legal sports bike, the all-new Honda CBR500R is powered by a 471cc liquid-cooled four-stroke DOHC parallel twin engine that is rated Euro-5 emission compliant. This engine can provide a maximum output of 47hp and 43Nm of torque. It is also fit to be an alternative commute as Honda’s local motorcycle arm stated that it has a fuel efficiency score of 28.6 kilometers per liter.
It is also equipped with an inverted front suspension of Showa 41mm Separate Function Fork Big Piston for comfort and control. The all-new Honda CBR500R has a 296mm dual-disc front brake with a radial-mount caliper, a two-channel Anti-brake lock system, slipper/assist clutch (that lessens the lever effort by 45 percent), and an emergency stop signal.
The lightweight five-spoke wheels complemented the race-bike image of the newly-introduced model.
Aside from that, the all-new Honda CBR500R has LED for its headlight, taillight, and turn lights to optimize efficiency and safety.
Further, the all-new Honda CBR500R features a negative-display LCD meter that displays dual trip meters, fuel level, consumption gauges, gear position, and shift-up indicators.
Now available at all Honda Big Bike dealerships locally, the latest sports bike offering is offered in two stylish body colors: Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic for P364,000.
