Honda PH Reveals 2 New Bikes, Latest Brand Ambassador
The long wait is finally over for Honda scooter fans as motorcycle brand Honda Philippines (HPI) has revealed two new offerings designed for the adventurous and chic.
During a mall show, HPI unveiled the all-new Genio and the all-new ADV150, together with its latest ambassador, prime time sweetheart Yassi Pressman.
In his speech, HPI President Susumu Mitsuishi is elated over the entry of the two new models.
"We are excited to bring to the Filipino market our latest models, the all-new Genio and the all-new ADV150," he said. "These new models will add excitement to the joy of riding a Honda motorcycle. We are confident that our Filipino customers will appreciate the motorcycles we created because we made them with their dreams and aspirations in mind."
"The all-new Genio and the all-new ADV150 combine innovation with style and function so it's not only the male riders who will experience the joy of riding, but ladies, as well," Mitsuishi added.
The all-new ADV150 embodies the preference of a unique individual who loves urban adventure.
The all-new ADV150 is the first in its class to provide an adjustable windscreen combined with a futuristic and manly design armed with the latest features of smart technology.
Aside from that, it is also equipped with an all-LED lighting system, fully-digital meter panel for clear riding information reading, power charger console box, large 28-liter utility box with seat stopper, naked handlebar, and the Smart Key System.
Since it is designed as touring scooter, its ride height seems to be higher than the Honda PCX. To add to that, the two share the same engine.
It sits on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear tires, with twin Showa sub-tank rear suspension for a comfortable ride.
For its safety features, the all-new ADV150 features an emergency stop signal (ESS) which automatically blinks the hazard light when sudden stop occurs and front and rear wavy disc brakes with 1-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) for a more stable braking system.
Meanwhile, the all-new Genio replaces the Honda Scoopy.
Designed to cater to the female commuters, the all-new Genio has chic look with smart technology to match.
It has an LED headlight and a digital meter panel with ECO indicator as well as a secure key shutter with seat opener.
It is fitted with a 14-liter utility box and features tubeless tires and an inner rack.
The all-new Genio is equipped with a combi-brake system having a front disc brake and rear mechanical drum braking system.
Both the Genio and the ADV150 have power chargers.
To put more fanfare, the all-new Genio is endorsed by Yassi Pressman, who join the likes of Coco Martin in the expanding Honda motorcycle family ambassadors.
"We chose Yassi Pressman because we believe that she personifies what the all-new Genio is all about, cool and fashionable," Mitsubishi noted.
The two new models will be available at the Honda 3S Shops by December 2019 for the all-new Genio with an SRP of Php72,900 and in January 2020 for the all-new ADV150 with an SRP of PHP149,000.
