Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI) has just revealed the refreshed version of its entry-level underbone motorcycle, the RS125.
Boasting a revitalized design, the Honda RS125 is set to excite its followers with the new look to match the three color variants Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Nightfall Blue, and Victory Red.
Its latest stripe designs complement the overall slim and sporty look of the new Honda RS 125—bound to make the commute easier yet stylish.
The new features of the latest Honda RS125 include a new body cover design and seat cushion, and capped muffler to suppress noise for an enjoyable, comfortable daily ride. Aside from that, it also has a new speedometer dial design (making the characters more readable) and a sharp taillight design that melds flawlessly with the look while dishing out clear signals to fellow road users behind.
The new Honda RS125 is still powered by the reliable air-cooled, 125cc, four-stroke, Overhead Cam (OHC) engine that can whip out 9.7hp and 9.5Nm of torque.
Further, HPI shared that the Euro 3-compliant PGM-Fi fuel system matched to a four-speed transmission can cover 67.5 kilometers on one liter of fuel based on the on the World Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC) Test Method.
HPI President Susumu Mitsuishi expressed pride over the bike's launch.
“At Honda, we aim to create a world where people get to enjoy traveling even if it’s as simple as buying groceries or going for a fun road trip. The New RS125’s refreshed design is our way of making our motorcycles exciting and share that feeling with Filipinos,” he was quoted as saying.
The new Honda RS125 will be retailed in all Honda dealerships nationwide with a suggested retail price of ₱73,400. In comparison, the Honda XRM125 is ₱67,900 up to ₱73,600 depending on the variant.
