KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What powers the Honda Winner X?

The Honad Winner X is powered by a 149cc engine mated to a six-speed transmission.
  • How much is the Honda Winner X?

The Honda Winner X is priced from P123,900 to P131,900.
  • Per the local arm of the Japanese motorcycle brand, the Honda Winner X will allow its customers to enjoy features that boast the “perfect blend of style and performance,” making it a bike that’s “sure to be another favorite among Honda’s many innovative products.”

    Eye-catching looks

Unveiled at an event in Las Piñas, the Honda Winner X boasts razor-sharp, head-turning style. At its fore is an aggressive-looking fascia coupled with fairings and panels that feature sporty and striking design.

Offered in three variants, the Honda Winner X comes in distinct colorways to match its powerful appearance.

Specifically, the Standard variant comes in Pearl Iceberg White and Infinity Red, wrapped with sporty decals.

The ABS Premium trim, on the other hand, is available in Matte Galaxy Metallic and Matte Meteoric Red Metallic with a three-dimensional (3D) “Winner X” emblem in gold.

Meanwhile, the range-topping ABS Racing grade can be had in a unique Infinity Red finish coupled with the same gold 3D badge plus a pair of gold cast wheels.

    Champion-tier performance

Complementing its good looks is what Honda Philippines Incorporated calls “champion-tier performance” thanks to the Winner X’s 149 cubic centimeter, four-stroke, four-valve, double overhead camshaft, liquid-cooled engine mated to a six-speed transmission.

According to the motorcycle brand, the said powertrain dishes out as much as 15.4 horses with 13.5 Newton-meters of torque.

In addition, the said setup clocks in at 52.3 kilometers per liter based on World Motorcycle Test Cycle standards.

Stopping power comes from disc brakes — front and back. An anti-lock brake system (ABS) is standard on the Premium and Racing variants allowing the said models better control and handling on various riding conditions.

Likewise, the Honda Winner X is also equipped with an assist and slipper clutch — which prevents rear tire slippage and helps the rider maneuver better with a light clutch mechanism — and a bank angle sensor, for safer rides.

    Intelligent features

The Honda Winner X also packs intelligent features that make it a viable ride not only for seasoned veterans but also for the tech-savvy riders of today’s generation.

Easily noticeable are its LED lighting setup that provides the rider great visibility, especially at night. Likewise the Honda Winner X’s fully digital instrument panel keeps the owners updated and in the know on all relevant riding information. The instrument panel is also highly visible allowing a good view of the screen even in broad daylight.

Additionally, the Honda Winner X also gets a smart key system with technology that enables the owner to start the engine and lock the handlebar using an electronic system.
