The Honda Rebel 1100 — launched alongside the all-new Honda XL750 Transalp and the CL500 — is a bike that leaves a lasting impression on those who see it. Thanks to a body style typical of American-made motorcycles, the latest addition to the lineup of Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) is a full-fledged head-turner and showstopper.
Key to its modern street bobber-style look is the Honda Rebel 1100’s classic single-round LED headlight, hunched fuel tank, and slammed seats. The look evokes vintage-inspired styling with a touch of modern minimalism.
Complementing the aforementioned features is a front fork that is set to a lying angle. Per HPI, this angle not only gives the Honda Rebel 1100 a cruiser-like appearance but also contributes to giving its owners a smooth ride.
Additionally, the said suspension is equipped with preload adjusters that owners can set according to their preference.
This bike, however, is not all style. The Honda Rebel 1100 is powered by a 1,083 cubic centimeter, parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled, engine mated to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. This setup, according to HPI, makes 85 horses and 98 Newton-meters of torque.
It also comes with cruise control and advanced selectable driving modes, namely Standard, Sport, Rain, and User.
Riders can also feel safe while looking good riding the Honda Rebel 1100. Its suite of safety features includes front and rear disc brakes with a two-channel anti-lock brake system and the Honda Selectable Torque Control with wheelie control.
The all-new Honda Rebel 1100 is offered in Gunmetal Black Metallic and Iridium Gray Metallic. It is priced at P650,000.
