(HPI) shared that the string of wins that occurred last month came from the riders of CRF and CBR models participating in various competitions.
On August 14, Team HRC’s Tim Gasjer was crowned 2022 World Champion in the MXGP Round 16 in Finland riding the CRF450R. HPI said that recognition was given with two races remaining.
Following Gasjer’s award was the impressive performances of Chase Sexton, Jett Lawrence, and Hunter Lawrence in the AMA MX Round 11 at Ironman National, USA on August 27. Sexton won the 450 Class with the CRF450R, while Jett topped the 250 Class and Hunter placed 3rd with the CRF250R.
The brand also secured wins in international on-road contests after Team HRC were hailed champions at the Suzuka 8-Hour Endurance Race in Japan last August 7 after crossing the checkered flag using the powerful CBR1000RR-R Fireblade.
Further, Honda Team Asia’s Ai Ogura of Japan and Somkiat Chantra of Thailand of Honda Team Asia took the top two positions in the Austrian GP last August 21 riding the Kalex Moto2 four-stroke race motorcycle, equipped with a Honda engine.
In the Philippines, 12-year-old Alfonsi Daquigan finished second place at the latest National Motorcycle Racing Championship (MoRAC) Super Sport 155 Class and first at the TSR Championship Super Sport 155 Class using the CBR150R.
Lastly, Jakob Sablaya dominated the MotoIR event Super Underbone Sealed and Super Underbone Open categories with the Supra GTR150 at the Tarlac Circuit Hill on August 21. He also scored a second-place finish at MotoIR2 with the CBR150R.
