In a recent press release, Honda released teaser photos of the upcoming 2023 HR-V. According to the US arm of the Japanese automotive brand, the new HR-V will be sporty and versatile, thus the compact crossover being depicted in driving on a snowy landscape.
That said, the sketches show the 2023 Honda HR-V to have lower air dams that seem to go well with the large honeycomb front grille. The LED lights at the front end are also somewhat more aggressive and more modern compared to the current model. At the back are smoother taillights and a redesigned rear bumper that puts the reflectors higher from the ground.
Although these sketches look more like Christmas cards than teaser photos, they are actually our first glimpse of the latest iteration of Honda’s HR-V. And, word on the web says that this specific crossover was designed with Honda’s US customers in mind.
The 2023 Honda HR-V is expected to be launched in North America sometime this year, along with other crossovers: the CR-V and the Pilot. With three new models coming out in 2022, it’s no surprise why Honda is calling it the Year of the Crossover.
