Hyundai HD50S GT Modern PUV Class 4 is DOTr compliant

The Hyundai HD50S GT Modern Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Class 4 has received its Certificate of Compliance (COC) from the Department of Transportation (DOTr).

To note, Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) — the official distributor of Hyundai commercial vehicles in the country — flaunted the Class 3 and Class 4 models of the Hyundai HD50S GT Modern PUV at the recently held Biyahenyong Aasenso Showcase.

With the granting of the said COC, HARI claimed that it is the first company to receive such certification in the aforementioned PUV category.

“Hyundai’s truck of all trades, the HD50S, does it again, this time to bring more value to our current Modern PUV fleet offerings. With its new body application, the HD50S Class 4 is intended to connect rural towns to larger cities. That is why it has provisions for cargo, as well as forward-facing seats for all passengers, and a side door entry for easy boarding and alighting. Of course, it is powered by an engine that is Euro-4 compliant and powerful enough to take on various road conditions,” commented HARI President and Chief Executive Officer Maria Fe Perez-Agudo.

The Hyundai HD50S GT Modern PUV Class 4 boasts power, fuel-efficiency, toughness, space, comfort, safety, and reliable after-sales support, making it a preferred vehicle for transport by cooperatives in Regions III, V, and VII. Likewise, the modern PUV is also gaining fast-growing support from cooperatives in the National Capital Region and in Region IV.

At the time of writing, HARI offers a wide roster of vehicles that meet government standards as the company received the COC for Modern PUV Class 1 and 2 in 2019, and another one for the HD50S Class 3 in 2020.

HARI has already sold nearly 800 modern PUV units nationwide.
